Jamie Hollick is a new addition to the clinic team having graduated from Leeds Beckett university in July 2017 and is registered with the general osteopathic council.
Jamie’s passion for Osteopathy was inspired by his own injuries and using the human body to promote recovery from those injuries. He believes in using the bodies anatomy and movement to promote health and function.
Jamie has additional training in the treatment of athletes and is knowledgeable due his own background in sports including tae-kwondo of which he has competed in the national championships, Muy Thai, karate, boxing and football, as well as more recently weightlifting which he enjoyed whilst studying at university.
Working in the busy Queen Square Wellness Centre whilst undertaking his Masters degree, Jamie treated a wide variety of patients and uses a wide variety of techniques to promote to promote to treat patients including: Soft tissue massage, Muscle energy techniques joint articulation and manipulation (HVLAT) as well as more gentle techniques such as functional technique and will pick techniques appropriate for you.
Jamie is hoping to undertake further training in the near future including: strength and condition courses and training in western acupuncture.
